A globe valve downstream from the meter allows flow rate adjustment during test. Connection to the PSMT is made using standard 3/4 in. male hose connections located on the exterior of the case. Two 3/4 x 39 in. metal-reinforced flexible hoses are provided for easy field connections.

  • Strain Gage Testing

    Response Dynamics Vibration Engineering, Inc.

Although strain measurement is often a key part of a root cause diagnosis, our analyses often also involve measurements of other parameters such as acceleration, relative displacement, pressure, temperature, flow, speed, load, dynamic stiffness, etc, to explore multiple parameters that may have a cause/effect relationship with the problem at hand. These measurements form part of a fact based hypothesis for the cause of the problem at hand. We use stain gauge testing and/or stain modeling and analysis, in conjunction with our structural dynamics expertise to characterize all the important pieces of the puzzle that come into play with dynamic strain issues (See Diagnostic Testing).

  • Bonnet EFS for Horizontal Wellhead Completions

    Teledyne Marine DGO

This Electrical Feedthrough System design provides a high-reliability circuit for transmitting electrical signals from downhole gauges through the wellhead and Subsea Tree to the Subsea Control Module (SCM) for topside monitoring. The system incorporates Teledyne DGO's high integrity glass-seal technology in three critical pressure barriers for maximum long-term reliability. The feedthrough system creates a permanent connection to the Subsea Control Module when the tree is installed onto the wellhead. In addition, a permanent rig-based DHG cable termination is completed to connect the control line to the feedthrough system. The DHG connector is available with a variety of sealing packages, including fully testable, dual metal-to-metal sealing of all downhole tubing hanger interfaces.

  • Total Sulfur Process Analyzer

NEX XT - Applied Rigaku Technologies, Inc

Featuring third-generation X-ray transmission technology, the NEX XT represents the next evolution of process gauge for sulfur measurement (0.02% to 6% S) of crude, bunker fuel, fuel oils, and other highly viscous hydrocarbons, including residuums. The Rigaku NEX XT system is faster, more sensitive and far more compact than competitive systems, and provides continuous, reliable detection of sulfur at pressures up to 1480 psig. Rigaku NEX XT can operate as a stand-alone analyzer or provide real-time closed-loop control when tied into a blending or plant-wide automation system. Among its other key features are a simplified user interface, reduced standards requirement, automatic density compensation, password protection, and standard platform for communicating sulfur and density to a plant-wide DCS. Due to its unique design and robust construction, sample conditioning and recovery systems are typically not required.

  • Humidity Detectors

    PCE Instruments

A humidity detector, also referred to as a humidity meter or humidity gauge, is a device with a humidity sensor that measures the relative humidity in the air. PCE Instruments offers a number of humidity detector products including handheld humidity detector, data recording or data logging humidity detector, and combination or multifunction humidity detector devices that also measure parameters such as room or ambient temperature and atmospheric or barometric pressure. A humidity detector can measure relative humidity (RH) as a percentage (%) from 0 to 100 % RH, depending on the humidity measurement range of the specific model.Humidity is a key factor in everything from library and museum archival to agriculture, construction, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, and heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR). A relative humidity meter also is helpful in evaluating workers' heat stress risk on production floors and job sites. In addition, humidity plays an important role in the residential sector. If the humidity is too high in a private household, mold can grow. Mold creates a health hazard for anyone breathing the air in the home.

  • FEA and Strain Gauge Testing

    Circuit Check, Inc.

Circuit Check began Strain Gauge Testing in 1999 when BGA/SMT technology started replacing PTH components, reducing strain levels was a reactive post fixture fabrication process. We quickly recognized that the “reactionary” process was neither efficient nor were we capable on knowing the lowest achievable strain levels. Our engineering team came up with visual tools utilized during design to easily identify areas of excessive probe force, though still not enough data was generated to identify the lowest possible strain. Finite Element Analysis software models the PCBA and test fixture and applies the pressures from test probes and board supports and indicates the micro strain level applied to the PCBA. Using the FEA software during our design process allows our engineers to modify fixture designs to attain the lowest possible micro strain before fabrication begins.

  • Analog Input Products

    Acces I/O Products, Inc.

Analog input boards are useful for measuring variably changing conditions in the real world. When we want to measure these variably changing conditions, we need analog inputs to convert these changing real world conditions to changing electrical quantities. For example, monitoring the temperature inside a wood kiln, or the water pressure on the output of a pump, or the heart rate of a medical patient. In each of these cases, you can use one of our analog input devices to convert the electrical data from a sensor or transducer into binary data that can then be used by your computer. The device that converts this data is known as an analog to digital converter (abbreviated ADC, A/D, or A to D). An analog input is a measurable electrical signal with a defined range. The analog input changes continuously in a definable manner in relation to the measured property. This data is very useful for process monitoring, process control, or simple monitoring / data collection and acquisition. ACCES' analog input boards amplify and multiplex input signals from thermocouples, strain gauges, accelerometers, photo sensors, flowmeters, RTDs, thermistors, voltage sources, millivolt sources, and current sources, just to name a few.
